I started my full time Martial Arts career in 1987. My goal was to give my two beautiful daughters some training in self-defense. I knew I couldn't defend them every minute of every day. I moved to Rock Springs, Wyoming in February 1989 and continued my training, shortly after I opened my own Martial Arts school Gunderson Tae Kwon Do. I hold a 4th Dan in Tae Kwon Do and 1st Dan in Hapikido. I will test this 2009 for my 5th and 2nd respectfully.

I have trained with some of the greatest martial artists I have known in Jiu-Jitsu, W. Bayless in Mui Tai, and Philippine stick fighting, R. Bistello (Bruce Lee's training partner) Hapikido and Judo Grand Master Kim of KyuKido Federation. Now I am a humble student of Grand Master J. Pettie and Master B. Kaumo Tae Kwon Do and Hapikido of Saki Do Kwon.

I am also a personal trainer at Anytime Fitness, my training has taken me to runner up Mr. Wyoming in 1999 and Mr. Wyoming title in 2000 Masters in body building.

Now I have been introduced to Mr. May AKT founder, in my opinion this is the most effective self-defense against Sexual Predators. I believe now is the time to teach women everywhere that they Do Not have to be a VICTIM anymore.
